Santa Fe Shop

Judy Lukitsch, owner of the Santa Fe Shop & Gallery, comes from a diverse background.  She graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received her Master’s Degree in Audiology from UW -Stevens Point.  Judy then moved out to the Southwest and lived in Phoenix for a few years.  She had travelled to areas of New Mexico before but was able to move to Farmington in the Four Corners area of the state and work for the school district on the Navajo Reservation performing hearing tests and fitting hearing aids for their students.  Judy made a journey weekly from Gallup to Shiprock to Crownpoint.

Judy moved to Wisconsin in the mid-nineties and in 1997 opened the Santa Fe Shop in a small space on the third floor of the Cedar Creek Settlement in Cedarburg.  After three years the Shop moved to larger quarters in the middle of downtown on the corner of Washington & Columbia right across the street from the Washington House Inn.  In 2004 another Santa Fe Shop opened in Door County in historic Fish Creek.  The Cedarburg store closed in 2007 letting Judy concentrate on the gallery in Fish Creek.
The Shop/Gallery is now located back in historic downtown Cedarburg, WI. We have gone to great lengths to find small companies and artists to provide the "Best Of" products from Mexico, South America, New Mexico and the Southwest. This truly is "The Shop of Enchantment."
